Rosie G Update 30th June 2013!! :-)
Hi everybody, I hope you are all well :-) We are all good and have lots to tell. Me and mummy have been spending a lot of time together as pretty soon it won't be just us anymore.
That's a bit sad as we have a great time together but it's also exciting as we'll be doing things with my baby sister and we can show her the ropes as she won't know anything :-)
so read on for all my latest news .....
This week has been a bit unorganised as mummy and daddy had to go to the hospital so I haven't been to playgroup or day care. Me and sparkly nanny have stayed at home waiting on
the updates :-)
So the first day they went to the hospital mummy was told that she would have to stay overnight and daddy came home to make sure I was ok and we had a big cuddle. I fell asleep on
daddy on the couch and when I woke up the next morning daddy had already gone back to the hospital to see mummy. I had to wake sparkly nanny up when I woke up and then we went
downstairs and had breakfast and started making glittery cards for people, that was great fun.
Later on though I had a bit of an accident when I was on the toilet and I fell off and banged my head really bad. There was a lot of blood and luckily Jodie (who lives next door)
had her sister visiting and she's a nurse so she took a look at it. It was a bad cut but as long as I kept it clean I would be ok. In the meantime my mummy was in the hospital
giving birth to my little sister, Alice :-) Yay mummy!!!!! Sparkly nanny rang daddy to tell him I'd banged my head and he wasn't happy so after Alice was born and mummy was ok
he came home to see me to make sure I was ok. But I was ok as I'm a big girl :-)
Once it was visiting time we all went back to the hospital and I met my little sister for the first time. She was tiny and mummy said that she looked just like I did when I was
born. Daddy said that we were so alike that we could be sisters! He was only trying to be funny because we are sisters! Silly daddy ;-)
And I got a nice present from Alice would you believe. I don't know when she had the time to go shopping and get it but fair play to her she got me a toy boat with little
passengers and drivers. Yay, thanks Alice :-)
But I missed my mummy and I told her that I wanted her to come home but mummy had to stay in for two days to make sure both she and Alice were ok! That night I wasn't happy
when we had to leave mummy in the hospital but I fell asleep in the car on the way home :-)
The next day we all went back to the hospital again and I played in Alices crib and got on mummies bed and played with all the toys which was great fun :-) And we gave Alice a bath,
that was her first one so we had to be careful but she really seemed to enjoy it which was great :-) Everything was going well, Alice was feeding good and passed her hearing test
so everyone was happy. She has a birthmark on her wrist that we need to see the specialist about and she has a tongue tie, thats when the bit of skin from the bottom of your tongue
thats attached to your mouth is a bit short. The doctor said that it was a tiny bit short and that Alice could still stick her tongue out so it shouldn't be a problem. Aside from
that she is perfect :-)
It was a busy week and we had lots of visitors and on Friday me and daddy drove to the hospital to pick mummy and Alice up and take them home :-) Yay!!!!! That was really exciting
as I got to show her where she's going to be living and her bedroom and where we do all our crafty stuff and all that :-)
So what a week!!! I'm off to bed now so check in next week for lots more photos and an update on how Alice is doing :-) Have a great week everyone.
With big love 'n' kisses
Rosie G and baby Alice :-) Xxxx
